[PREMIERE] Allen French: 7AM

allen-french-7am Before we continue you'll need to grab a red-ink Sharpie, your calendar, and tell Siri to hold your calls. The Sharpie is so you can circle next Wednesday the 16th on your, you guessed it, calendar. Feel free to improvise if a Sharpie isn't available. Red lipstick, a crayon, blood, all work. And you know what...while you're at it, upgrade that circle to a heart because coming to a sound system near you is 'Novo Mundo,' the debut EP by Allen French, and this new world is algo que usted amor.

It's 11/11, what some might call a lucky day. And as luck would have it, Kick Kick Snare has the pleasure of premiering "7AM," the house-driven, synth–soaked first single off French's forthcoming EP, while at the same time revealing a softer side of the LA producer. From his collaborations with jazz aficionado and M83’s own Joe Berry to vocalists Amie Miriello and Jessie Clemens, these are the kind of endorsements that could validate this caliber of talent, if the music didn't already speak for itself.

"7AM is one of those tracks that came together so effortlessly, was such a pleasure working together with Amie and Joe on it. I think where we all were in life earlier this year when we wrote really defines the meaning of song which Amie described it best, it's about waking up spiritually and freeing yourself. You'll hear this for yourself in the lyrics and we hope you can vibe with it too!" - Allen French
